Ford Focus 1.6 LX 2006 Low Mileage 80,200 miles with fresh new 12 Month MOT.

For sale is my trusted Ford Focus 1.6 LX petrol, 2006 model. I’ve owned the car for the past 3 years and it has been very reliable, never let me down. It’s the LX so electric windows, air conditioning etc.

🔧 Condition:
The car is in good mechanical condition. I fixed the main key issue outlined in the last MOT. The Offside Front driveshaft seal leaking oil Rear with receipts to prove- see pictures.

It also had an oil change of summer 2025.

The car is used daily by myself to get to work and back (I’m a teacher and I work close to home). the owner before me used it to commute to work (she worked in a bank) so it has never been driven hard or abused in any way.

Whist I have had it it has never missed a beat or had any mechanical issue.

However the lacquer on the paint is peeling in places (mainly bonnet), which is common for cars of this age. I’ve added professional protective stickers on the bonnet as shown in the images. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect how the car drives. They have been on for two years now, most people like them. I have spare brand new stickers to give with the car in case they are needed in the future.

The interior is fine, a few age related marks on the seats but nothing major that won’t come out with some interior cleaning.

MOT until April 21st 2027

Engine starts first time every-time. Breaks are good - could do with two new tyres soon.

Logbook (V5C) is there and I have Some service history- see images.

Price: £900 (to account for laquer).

TBH I’m Only selling as I’ve upgraded to a newer car that’s automatic as I’m physically struggling and it’s easier for me to drive.

The car is no longer insured so you would need to ensure you have that sorted before test driving. (You may want to insure for an hour on line). The car is currently taxed.
