Description: One of the final 'special editions', the Capri Laser was introduced in late 1984 and featured a six-gauge instrument cluster, tinted glass, tailgate spoiler, body-coloured grille and door mirrors, RS alloy wheels, distinctive Laser graphics and Truro cloth upholstery,Powered by Ford's 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing approximately 100bhp, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox,This example is finished in Paris Blue with the correct Grey 'Laser' cloth interior, complemented by matching grey vinyl door cards and Laser seat inserts,It was first registered in 1986 and supplied to its one and only registered keeper new by Ford Bristol Street, Kent,Our vendor was given the opportunity to acquire it through a family connection after the vehicle had remained garaged for the last 28 years,Over the past 12 months it has been recommissioned prior to sale at a cost of c£1,600.,The work included four new tyres, new battery, fuel pump and pipe, radiator reconditioning, replacement front brake calipers and rear wheel cylinders, together with fresh plugs, points, antifreeze, wiper blades and an MOT,Accompanied by its original service book, original Bill of Sale, a collection of previous MOT certificates and supporting invoices,In the words of out vendor ""In recommissioning the car, I have been very mindful to keep it as original as possible"".
