Ford Escort RS Turbo with 5800 miles from new. This car was previously sold by Iconic Auctioneers at which point it was a world record sale, and more than we are advertising it for now. The current owner has a small private collection and is taking a different direction with his collection, so he has asked us to market the car on his behalf.

The car was first supplied by E Ward Wellingborough to the first owner on the 05/01/1989 in Radiant Red with Zolda cloth interior.

It was initially registered to the first owner's company, then the car was re-registered in his own name on the same day. Used sparingly by his wife until her passing in 2007 and thereafter dry stored until 2015 having covered some 5,000 miles
The car was consigned by the first owner in August of 2015 to Silverstone Auctions (now Iconic Auctioneers) and sold. The next owner went right through the car, included a professional respray and underside detailing.
It comes with a well stamped service book, handbooks, receipts, photo album and historic MOTs, the most recent of which is valid until January 2026.
Beautifully presented and perhaps the finest example available with just 5,673 recorded miles from new, we welcome any inspection. The service book documents the mileage until 2007 and the MOT history goes from 2006 until present.
The car is currently wearing a private plate F15 CSR but was previosulky on F670 XNV. both sets of plates are with the car.

Body - The car is stunning with unmarked paintwork. The underside is all detailed. It has all the correct headlights and Carello 640 front driving lamps. its immaculate from front to back. Paint and underside was refreshed in 2019 at a cost of over 7000 pounds

Mechanics - During the third owners time with the car he fitted new calipers, wishbones, discs , pads and more. he sourced a genuine Ford timing belt , water pump and spark plugs which were all fitted at 5700 Miles. It starts, runs and drives as it should.

Interior - This all looks completely standard and immaculate. it really is as good as you will find one inside.

Wheels - Original matching date stamped Alloys with good Dunlop Sport tyres. the original tyres were not worn out but were too old.
