1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 3dr HATCHBACK Petrol Manual

Selling on behalf of one of our customers this lovely Ford Sierra 3 Door Cosworth. This one was first registered by Route One Ford in Manchester to a gentleman in Hale. It still has a dealer sticker and number plates. showing Route One Ford. Its covered just 55k miles which is very well documented. We have the V5. Every old Mot its had dating back to its first in 1989. We have the original service book with 19 stamps. The last was 400 miles ago which included a timing belt. This is a very good looking low mileage example with decent history. Its only covered 10k miles in the last 30 years.

Body - This car is superb underneath. It looks very original, with no dents, flakey bits or scuffs. Jacking points are superb, which is rare on these. Chassis number clearly visible on the floor pan. Structurally this car is lovely. The paint was refreshed recently as it was looking a little tired. The paintwork on it is stunning and the car is very straight, with good panel gaps. Wings are original with date stamps showing, as is the front panel. This car id say is well above average and would stand out amongst a lot of the others.

Mechanics - All appears to be standard and well maintained. Still has its cam belt cover,original airbox and so on. Doesnt appear to have been modified. The car starts, runs and drives well and is Motd till Jul 2026.

Interior - All standard and in very good order. Seats ae good , as are the door cards, headlining has no sagging. Parcel shelf is good. Very slight sag in middle but im being picky. Dash has two minor very small cracks around speaker but not bad at all. Overall very tidy and original inside.

Wheels - Original alloys which have been refurbished very nicely. Centres still clearly show the Ford logo. We have the key for the centre caps. Tyres are all very good and hardly used.

This is a lovely standard example with good miles and history. It doesnt look like its had a hard life. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
