Description
Hardy LRH Featherweight trout fly reel 2 7/8″ diameter with original box.
Named after Lawrence Robert Hardy, the LRH Featherweight is a classic Hardy fly reel. Manufactured in the north of England Hardy Alnwick factory in the early 1960s this example is the excellent condition and full working order.
It has a two screw line guard and nickel silver rim tension adjuster. The line guard is stamped “BRIT REGD DESIGN 895921”. The reel is currently set up for left hand wind and is easily converted to right hand wind. Complete with original box and a 5wt Cortland DT fly line.
This is the perfect reel for a 3 – 5 wt rod and will appeal to collectors and users of vintage Hardy equipment.
