Description
I'm giving away my aquarium with 10 fish plus accessories. There are about 10 fish inside, a few neon tetras and ruby noses. The tank is 40 litres. As you can see in the photo, it's fully set up – gravel, pebbles, a few plants, filter, heater, air pump. I also have spare fish food and extra bits that used to be in the tank but there's no room for them right now.
We've had the aquarium for a few years and I'd like it (and the fish) to go to someone with at least basic knowledge of fishkeeping. There's simply no more space for it in my house.
The whole setup – tank, fish, and all accessories – £50. Part of the money for this tank came from my son's savings, so I'd at least like to get some of it back for him. I think it's still a great starter option for anyone who wants to get into the hobby. A tank like this alone costs £100–150 new, plus the fish and extras.
If you decide to take it, I'll drain the water to a minimum. If needed, I can also temporarily net the fish so you can transport them safely. There's plenty of room in a 40L tank to add more fish later and customise the look to your taste.
Collection from Meadowbank.
No rush on my end, so please don't send low-ball offers like £10 – I believe £50 is a fair price for the complete set.
