Beautiful Art Nouveau Tiled Cast Iron Fireplace, Fire Surround, Fret and Ash Pan Cover and Hearth

This classic cast iron fireplace is a stunning Art Nouveau design with all tiles intact.

The combination of colours in the tiles are gorgeous with a dark green glaze detailing pink and burgundy flowers. The black metal with the gold Art Nouveau detail make a real statement. I prefer it as it is but you can polish the detail to make it more outstanding with a shine. It comes complete with the original metal fire fret and ash pan cover with the same matching Art Nouveau pattern.

A black granite hearth is also included which measures 54 inches x 15 inches (2cm depth) but it will need a rub down and clean with WD40 or similar product as it has marks and residue - this is how it was when I purchased it. I have been told it is not difficult to do.

The pine fire surround is very solid and heavy and has metal clips to attach it securely to the wall. I was going to paint it black as I think that would look lovely with the fire.

Please note that the fire is not included.

Approximate measurements are as follows :

The wooden fireplace surround measures approximately 54 inches in length and the mantel 11.5 inches width. It has a good deep rebate and suitable for this fire.

The outer edge of the insert measures 98 cm high and 98 cm width.

The inner measurements taken from the edge of the canopy measures 41cm width and the height from the floor to the bottom of the canopy measures 56cm.

You may need 2 people to carry it or a very strong person as it is all very heavy and make sure you have sufficient room in a car boot or small van for transporting.
