Welcome to June's monthly social mixer of the London Cafe Society...


📋WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT?
Café Society was the description of the Beautiful People who gathered in fashionable cafés and restaurants in New York, Paris and London beginning in the late 19th century. The term has also been used to describe the bohemian ensemble of artists and intellectuals in interwars Paris. And based on that, this monthly social mixer will be about uniting together all those people who feel that they are creative, stoic and sensitives and deep souls and long to find others to make deeper connections with.

These monthly mixers are a chance to meet interesting, new people, like yourself every month in a different venue (different pub, bar, cafe or restaurant in or around greater London) and have deep and meaningful conversations, but also have loads of fun while getting to know each other.

👍This month we will be meeting up in the West End of Central London for an afternoon of connection and convos. (The meet up point has been listed where we will all convene and then after 10 minutes move to the event venue which will only be disclosed on the day to attendees that turn up).

👍 Every month is themed, and this is for the sole purpose of starting conversations.This month's theme is "Living a life of Romance:Fall in love with the Everyday”. A life of Romance is about looking for moments of beauty, appreciating the small things throughout your day and crucially celebrating what you already have, rather than delaying gratification for an elusive some day. Romancing isn't an idea or concept focusing on a short lived feeling as depicted in rom coms/movies,or just for lovers. It about having and sustaining a love affair with yourself, life, the world and others, regardless of what events are going on.

It is important to remember:

There is only one you, and there will never be anyone alive, ever again, exactly like you.

So....

How do you make your life a unique masterpiece?

We will focus on the following....

-AWE: It is about cultivating a sense of wonder in everyday experiences.
-IMAGINATION: this involves accessing creativity, adventure and learning.
-PLAYFULNESS: it's about focusing on how you are living this journey through life will ultimately matter more than what has been achieved or accumulated. So a sense of lightheartedness is crucial to making a best of life.
-POSSIBILITIES:it's about actively choosing to embrace new experiences, opportunities, and challenges, while also being open to the unexpected and learning from both successes and failures.
So let's get together and talk about love and romance in a very different way...


🔍WHO IS THIS EVENT SUITABLE FOR?
These monthly mixers are open to all adult men and women of all ages: regardless of whether you are socially anxious or a social butterfly, single or attached, if you have many friends, few or none, or if you are teetotal or a social drinker or regardless of whether you have a diet with no restrictions or you have specific food requirements... all are welcome!(please feel free to contact me if you have questions and/or specific requirements and I will do my best to address and accommodate them).
