Hailing from Bristol, the spiritual home of live Drum and Bass, Dr Meaker have broken the mould with their unique fusion of sounds earning them fans across the globe.

Attracting attention from the legendary selector and label boss Bryan Gee, it wasn’t long before Dr Meaker teamed up with V Recordings for two soulful slices of Drum and Bass. Their 1Xtra playlisted ‘Music In The Night’, ‘Fighter’ and ‘Dont Think Its Love’ followed which picked up 1.5 million hits online plus 50 plays on Radio1, Kiss Fresh, Unity and Ministry of Sound playlists. The seminal sounds of Bristol form the basis of the newest Bristolian sound system to shake the scene hark back to the formative years of V Recordings, adding their own euphonious twist.

Disco Freaks have built up a reputation as one of the most exciting soul and funk vinyl DJs around, they have brought the good times across UK, Europe and most recently in New York.

The energetic duo, Chris Davies and Matt Browning, from Blackburn and Margate have shared a residency with the legendary John Morales, gigged with Roy Ayers and brought the funk to festivals like Glastonbury and Bestival and also around the world.

The South London Soul Train, taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.

The South London Soul Train Runs 10pm - 4am on the last Saturday of each month at Multi-Story, top floor Peckham Levels.
