Hi all!
I've been playing in a punk band since Covid and I've become sick to death of dealing with promotors. Venues post Covid put no investment into small and experimental acts and are sucking the scene dry. I want to try something different.
Taking influence from Show Me The Body, I've long been interested in doing DIY punk shows in the north London greater area. Not for money, but simply for the love of having a mosh. Growing up in Barnet can be lonely for a punk, and I want us to have a way to find each other without having to pay Rough Trade.
I'm putting out this feeler because I want to see if there's an interest. If your a band, a punk, or just someone who wants weird art to thrive, give us a beep by either messaging me on gumtree or my band @MisterSofteeBand on Instagram.
This would need to be a communal effort so if you have any places that would be fun, any equipment you could lend, or anything of the sort that would be fantastic.
