Description
Funhouse Comedy brings another great night of laughter to the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Friday February 6th.
Topping the bill is Steve Gribbin, a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit. His unique comedy songs combine razor sharp lyrics with tunes that you won't forget.
Opening the night will be Karen Bayley the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award. With her shrewd wit and great timing she surprises everyone with her inspired and sparkling punch-lines.
Completing the line-up is the totally unique Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre, that has played nationally and internationally. A magnificently performed show with songs, sketches and a bit of mayhem! Never have socks had such a following, brought to life in front of their audiences who are completely captivated whilst crying with laughter.
Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his 'Walk of Fame'.
