The Role

As Workshop Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for coordinating and supporting a team of workshop engineers while ensuring all repairs and maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll be the go-to person for guidance, planning, and quality control, setting the tone for a productive and positive workshop environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and supporting engineers and learners across all workshop levelsOverseeing the repair and overhaul of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxesAllocating workloads, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are metLeading by example with strong standards in quality, safety, and professionalismProviding structured mentoring, training, and on-the-job guidanceManaging attendance, performance, and team disciplineEnsuring efficient use of labour and materials to meet production plansMaintaining workshop equipment, tools, and facilitiesUpholding strict Health & Safety procedures and encouraging best practicesBeing available for call-out or overtime when required
