Transport Refrigeration Engineer
Bristol
Salary: 38,000 (OTE 55,000 – 60,000)
We are looking for a skilled Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing transport refrigeration systems while ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faultService units, including hydrocarbon and A2L systemsRespond to breakdowns and perform routine servicingMaintain van stock to agreed levelsRecord equipment history and complete documentationWork to company, manufacturer, and compliance standardsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsFollow Health & Safety and site procedureRequirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in transport refrigeration (essential)NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)FGAS Refrigerant Handling – City & Guilds 2079 (desirable)Knowledge of compressor technologies and A2L systemsUnderstanding of UK and international regulationsIT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/SAP experienceFull UK driving licencePersonal Attributes
