Job Title: Trainee Service Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Introduction

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically minded Trainee Field Service Engineer to join our engineering service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who has a qualification in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering (or equivalent experience) and is looking to build hands-on expertise in the service and maintenance of compressors, vacuum pumps, refrigerant dryers, and associated products.

Full training and mentoring will be provided, making this the ideal first step for a motivated individual who wants to develop into a fully qualified Field Service Engineer.

Service Engineer - Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers with the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of compressors, vacuum pumps, refrigerant dryers, and related equipment.Learn how to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults.Support with completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.Provide excellent customer service while on-site.Gradually take on more responsibility as skills and experience develop.Follow health & safety procedures at all times.Service Engineer - Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualification (or studying towards) in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering - apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent.OR practical experience working with engineering/technical products.Eager to learn with a strong interest in engineering and problem-solving.Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude.Full UK driving licence (or working towards, depending on age/experience).Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally further afield.Service Engineer - Benefits
