Trainee Repair Technician - Spider is advertising on behalf of a market leader in surface repair and restoration, who has an exciting opportunity for a motivated experienced or trainee Technicians to join their busy team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk working across the Cambridge and Ipswich corridor. Due to fleet insurance requirements, candidates must be over 25 years old and hold a clean driving licence.

This full-time, permanent role offers exceptional training and career development. You'll learn to work with leading housebuilders and commercial clients, repairing and restoring a wide variety of damaged surfaces - from baths to bricks, worktops to window frames - using specialist resurfacing and restoration techniques.

As a Trainee Repair Technician, you'll receive hands-on, specialist training in repairing and refinishing materials such as stone, brick, marble, metal, ceramic, plastic, and enamel. You'll develop high-quality resurfacing and restoration skills that allow you to bring damaged surfaces back to life and take pride in producing excellent results for each client. Hours are onsite Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm plus travelling time. Some weekend work might be required but this is paid overtime.

About you:

As a Trainee Repair Technician, you'll be practical, good with your hands, and eager to learn new skills. A positive, self-motivated attitude, strong attention to detail, and a good eye for colour are essential. You'll enjoy varied, hands-on work and be committed to completing your NVQ Level 2 qualification.
