About the Role

As a Trainee Field Service Engineer, you'll be out on the road, visiting customers' homes to diagnose and repair household appliances. You'll be the friendly face of Hotpoint, helping people get their appliances back up and running.

What you'll be doing:

Driving your own Hotpoint van to customer appointmentsDiagnosing and repairing appliances like tumble dryers, electrical cookers, washing machinesProviding top-notch customer serviceManaging your tools and spare parts stockPromoting our trusted Hotpoint products

Your Training Journey

We'll fully support you from day one with a blend of classroom learning, hands-on experience, and on-the-job training:

Welcome Induction (2 days) - Meet your team, collect your equipment, and learn key safety infoShadowing - Join an experienced engineer on the road to see the job in actionPhase 1 Training (3 weeks) - Technical training at our specialist centre in PeterboroughOn-the-Job Learning (6 - 9 months) - Build your skills with real customersPhase 2 Training (2 weeks) - Level up your knowledge learning another appliance

What You'll Need

We're looking for people who are:

Passionate about customer serviceInterested in electrics, mechanics, or hands-on problem-solvingHold a full UK manual driving licencePhysically fit - able to move and lift appliancesEligible to work in the UKNo previous field engineering experience is required - just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
