Test & Commissioning Engineer x2

GBP37,00 - GBP40,000 + Early Finish Friday + Overtime

Travel 30%-50% UK & Worldwide

Technician - Test & Validation - The Role:

Test and validation of machinery and equipment in-house and worldwide customer locations

System software commissioning & generation (Robot, PLC and Kepware code)

System fault finding and diagnostics

Fault rectification

Conducting system wide test and Inspection

Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs

Conduct customer training

Development of Robot and PLC software (Drives, Mechanical Controls)

Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality

Writing procedures and plans

Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules

Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics

Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety Issues in the workplace

Technician - Test & Validation - The Person:

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.

Hands-on experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment

Professional manner with good communication skills. Able to represent the company to a high standard

Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues

Full, clean driving licence & Passport

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
