A fantastic opportunity to join our Sparkworks team, working on programmes for groundbreaking weapon systems.

Salary: Circa GBP55,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on–site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

We are looking for a System Performance Lead for a Sparkworks Programme. As part of the role, you will be responsible for a number of activities, including:Conducting system–level performance evaluations of novel concepts against their requirementsConducting trade studies to inform lower–level designGenerate and agree scenarios with key customers to be used for scenario–based performance evaluationDefinition of the modelling strategy to conduct these assessmentsOwnership of development and delivery of models and algorithmsDelivery of Performance Statements to customersCoordinating inputs from wider functions to support system design and performance analysisWhat we're looking for from you:DV cleared engineer with a broad systems engineering background, preferably covering all phases of development from concept to certificationExperience in the management, development and use of tools, simulations, and algorithms produced in Matlab and SimulinkAbility to work at pace within a broad multi–functional team, delivering complex information into project collaboratorsExperience in data analysis and technical report writingAbility to solve problems collaboratively with colleagues and partnersOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given
