About the Role

Our client is looking for a Sustainability Technical Project Manager to help drive the transformation of sustainability across their global supply chain.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects that support companies sustainability ambitions, working with suppliers, procurement teams, internal departments and international stakeholders across the Group. You will play a key role in delivering projects that improve environmental performance, strengthen responsible sourcing practices, and support a more sustainable future

We are looking for a proactive project manager who enjoys turning strategy into action, creating structure from complexity, and delivering measurable results through collaboration and influence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver sustainability projects across Procurement, ensuring clear outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment. Drive execution of the Procurement sustainability roadmap, translating strategic objectives into practical actions and measurable results. Develop and manage project plans, governance forums, reporting, risks, dependencies, and escalation activities. Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives, including decarbonisation, traceability, compliance, and responsible sourcing programmes. Provide clear reporting, tools, and guidance to enable sustainability delivery across sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, delivering sustainability, responsible sourcing, decarbonisation, traceability and supplier sustainability initiatives within a complex business environment. Strong project or programme management experience, with the ability to deliver complex cross-functional initiatives and manage priorities, risks, dependencies and business requirements. Practical knowledge of supply chain sustainability principles, supplier due diligence, sustainability compliance, performance improvement and supplier engagement activities. Good understanding of Scope 3 emissions, carbon reduction approaches and sustainability reporting principles, with the ability to translate sustainability objectives into measurable business outcomes. Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing suppliers, cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive actions and deliver results. Qualifications
