Poole 15.00 per hour 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SMT Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Poole.

This is a great opportunity for someone with recent SMT experience who is looking for a stable position within a professional manufacturing environment.

The responsibilities for the SMT Operator

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring SMT production equipment, ensuring components are placed accurately and products are manufactured to the required quality standards.

Setting up and operating Europlacer SMT equipmentSetting up and loading feedersLoading and running production programmesCarrying out SMT machine changeoversMonitoring placement quality throughout productionIdentifying and resolving basic production or machine issuesCarrying out visual inspections and quality checksWorking from production drawings, specifications and work instructionsEnsuring production targets and quality standards are maintainedMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollowing company procedures and health & safety requirementsTo be considered for this SMT Operator Vacancy:

Recent experience operating Europlacer SMT equipmentPrevious experience within an SMT or electronics manufacturing environmentExperience setting up feeders and loading programmesExperience carrying out SMT changeoversA good understanding of placement quality and quality controlThe ability to follow technical instructions and production specificationsA reliable and positive approach to workThis is an excellent opportunity to join a professional manufacturing environment offering stable hours, competitive pay and the opportunity for a long-term position.
