Site Engineer - Essex - New Build School

A leading main contractor is currently seeking to recruit a Site Engineer for a new build steel frame school project in Essex. The project is currently in its very early stages, enabling works started on site last month.

As a site engineer, you will be responsible for QA and the day to day management of the subcontractor engineers. You will ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in line with specifications.

Main duties will include:

Checking setting out works as required for the projectUndertaking daily inductionsMaintaining a site diaryUndertaking pre pour check for concrete poursUndertaking certain environmental monitoring requirements (specific training will be provided)Undertaking weekly checks and completing a task list as outlined by the Project ManagerChecking setting out instruments weekly/monthlyResolve setting out queries and raise necessary RFI's in relation to these.General responsibility for site safetyManagement of section 278 worksTo apply for this role please contact Chris Schmid on (phone number removed) or send your CV.
