Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent - Civils to join a 64-week Bearing Replacement Scheme in Stowmarket.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong civils background, particularly those with highways and bridge experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering

Strong highways and/or bridge project experience

Experience managing site teams and subcontractors

Bearing replacement, bridge repairs or structures experience is advantageous

PTS certification ideally required

Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality requirements

Ability to work to programme and specification

Relevant civil engineering qualifications

Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations

Supervising site teams and subcontractors

Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently

Monitoring progress against programme

Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship

Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements

Coordinating with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders

Managing site documentation, records and reporting

Supporting the successful delivery of the bearing replacement scheme
