Senior Site Supervisor – (night shifts), high–profile airport environment

400– 450 per day

Heathrow Airport

The employer specialises in the automated material handling and logistics industry and is known for delivering innovative engineering solutions and maintaining critical operational systems in high–demand environments. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Supervisor to join their team. This position is well–suited to a proactive, hands–on leader who is looking to take ownership of day–to–day site operations and drive continuous improvement.

This position is based within the Engineering Operations department and reports to the Site Manager. You will oversee supervision of engineering activities, coordinate contractors and technical teams, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of maintenance and project works.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance teams on site.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, RAMS, and airport operating standards.

Coordinate daily workloads, shift activities, and resource planning.

Monitor system performance and support operational continuity.

Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and airport personnel.

Requirements:

Strong background in engineering supervision within industrial or automated environments.

Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Experience working in safety–critical or high–security operational sites.

Ability to manage teams, prioritise workloads, and make decisions under pressure.

Valid right to work and ability to pass airport security clearance

The ideal candidate should have the following:

– ESR 2.0 minimum

– Experience with Electrical Baggage Equipment

– Previous experience with T3 would be ideal

– A valid airside pass

In addition, they need someone who can compile shift reports and provide survey feedback. The surveys will be conducted during night shifts, requiring attendance from Airport NABs to the first bag following surveys. Experience with Heathrow permits would also be beneficial.
