This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the engineering and environmental landscapes, including flood management and ground investigation. They are seeking a keen, experienced Senior Flood Risk Consultant willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based near the modern, industrial city of Salford.

Completing technical work for a number of complex projectsProducing Flood Risk Assessments for Planning ApplicationsCreating Drainage Strategies and Drainage DesignsUtilising a number of relevant software packages, such as InfoDrainage and Causeway PDSProviding mentorship and leadership to less-experienced colleaguesGetting involved with Environmental and Hydrological ProjectsAttending site visits and meetings across the region, representing the companyLiaising with a number of clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:

A Degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant field)Demonstrable experience of having worked in a design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting (or for a Local Authority)Extensive experience of completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage DesignsOutstanding working knowledge of Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and other, similar software Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
