Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate saw machinery to cut metal stock to precise specifications. Interpret technical drawings and written cutting instructions. Carry out first-off checks and maintain consistent quality throughout production. Handle materials safely, including movement, labelling, and traceability documentation. Complete machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Follow all site health, safety, and environmental standards. Support effective shift handovers and communication with team members. Requirements / Person Specification

Proven experience as a Saw Operative or in a similar metal manufacturing environment. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings or cutting lists. Competent in the use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, verniers). Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and quality. Flexible approach to working day and night shifts. Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. What s on Offer
