We are seeking a motivated Remediation Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in York.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Remediation Engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across York.
As a Remediation Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in York, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoringAssist with the design and implementation of remediation strategiesSupport earthworks and materials management activitiesPrepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statementsEnsure compliance with environmental and health & safety standardsLiaise with clients, contractors, and regulatorsCandidate Requirements:
We are looking for a Remediation Engineer who is practical, detail-focused, and keen to grow their career.
Degree in Remediation Engineering, Geology, or a related disciplineExperience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)Live within a commutable distance of their York officeFull UK driving licenceWhat's On Offer:
