The Opportunity

A well-established and growing refrigeration business is looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to its team, covering commercial sites throughout South London and the surrounding areas south of the M25.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants a localised working patch and a better work-life balance, with the added benefit of no on-call rota and fully paid door-to-door travel.

Your Role You ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of commercial refrigeration equipment across a variety of customer environments.

Equipment will include:

Walk-in cold rooms Refrigerated display cabinets Bottle coolers Integral refrigeration systems Remote refrigeration systems You will attend sites across sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare and office environments, carrying out both planned and reactive works.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Completing servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnosing refrigeration faults Carrying out repairs and reactive maintenance Undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Providing a professional service across customer sites What We're Looking For To be considered for the position, you'll need:

Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment F-Gas qualified, with Category 1 preferred Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities Full UK driving licence Package & Benefits Salary up to GBP47,000, depending on experience Door-to-door travel paid No on-call rota Company van Fuel card Overtime available Pension Holiday allowance Stable and supportive working environment Location The role would suit engineers based in or around Croydon, Bromley, Sutton, Dartford, Crawley, Redhill, Maidstone, or other areas south of the M25.
