Job Title: Radiator Operative

Location: Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire ( own transport is recommended due to location)

Duration: Contract

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 16:00

Friday - 07:00 to 13:00

Overtime is available.

Our Engineering client has a position for a Radiator Operative for a minimum of 3 months.

The role of the operative is to carry out mandatory services and associated repairs.

Responsibilities:

Working in a manual environment, the role is air under water pressure test product after weld process

Ability to read engineering drawings preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Checking quality of parts before and after process

Grinding/fettling product

Kitting parts to line

PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)

To undertake training as and when required.

To work within a realistic timeframe.

To mentor trainees / apprentices when applicable.

To ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.

To adhere to written or verbal instructions.

Physical Demands of Role:

Ability to work in a physically busy ever-changing demanding role
