Our client is delivering a large-scale digital transformation programme within the UK public sector, supporting a critical customs platform responsible for processing goods entering and leaving the UK. The programme operates within a complex systems integration environment, combining bespoke applications and commercial off-the-shelf solutions.

Your new role

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in the testing and enhancement of a business-critical customs application. Working within a complex service-oriented architecture and hybrid cloud environment, you will focus on performance testing activities to ensure application reliability, scalability, and quality across the platform.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience in performance testing. Hands-on experience with JMeter. Knowledge of Java and Cucumber. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Exposure to AWS tools and cloud-based environments. Ability to work within complex systems integration programmes. What you'll get in return
