NEW QUALITY ENGINEER JOB IN ANDOVER.
Our client based in Andover, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex PCBA's for a range of industries like automotive, industrial and medical.
We are searching for a Quality Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Andover. This is a hands-on role supporting production, engineering and new product introduction (NPI) through technical leadership and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities as a Quality Engineer in Andover.
Investigate repeat issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Maintain and develop our Quality Management Systems, including procedures, PFMEAs, and Quality Manufacturing Plans. Conduct audits, inspections, and spot-checks to ensure adherence to standards. Support customer communications regarding product quality and compliance. Identify risks during New Product Introduction, Sales Order Reviews, and Change Control. Experience in using investigation tools such as 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys. Requirements as a Quality Engineer in Andover.
2+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment A relevant degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable but not essential Proven experience dealing with customer complaints, audits, and root cause analysis Experience with ISO 9001 and ideally AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 environments.
