The business designs, builds and supports anaerobic digestion and waste to resource facilities for municipal, industrial, commercial and agricultural customers worldwide. The Project Manager is the overall project leader, heading a multidisciplinary team across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and working closely with the Site Manager, the Engineering Manager and the Health and Safety Manager.

The role would suit an experienced Project Manager from EPC, water, wastewater, energy or heavy industrial infrastructure who has taken projects from contract award through commissioning and closeout, and who leads from the front on site.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

Leading the project from contract award through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. Developing and maintaining the project execution plan, programme, budget, forecasts and resource plans. Administering the contract under NEC4, JCT or FIDIC, and managing change, variations and cost control to protect margin. Managing subcontractor and vendor performance, and coordinating construction activities with the Site Manager. Maintaining the risk register, and the Primavera P6 programme with the Project Scheduler and Controller. Reporting progress, cost, programme and risk to the client and senior leadership, and chairing project review meetings. Making sure the project meets its CDM 2015 duties, QA and QC plans and environmental permits. Candidate Requirements

At least 10 years' experience managing EPC or heavy industrial infrastructure projects. A proven record of taking projects through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. Strong construction management experience, including managing subcontractors and construction contracts. Sound knowledge of NEC4, JCT or FIDIC contract administration, commercial management and project controls. Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and UK construction health, safety and environmental requirements. A degree, HNC or HND in civil, mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering, construction management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience on wastewater, biogas, anaerobic digestion or renewable energy projects, and APM, PRINCE2, PMP, SMSTS or NEBOSH, would be advantageous. What's on Offer

Salary of 80,000 to 100,000 per annum. Car allowance of 400 per month. Permanent, full time, site based on the project in the Bristol Area. The chance to lead a major renewable energy project for a global business. If you are an experienced EPC Project Manager looking to lead a major renewable energy project from award to handover, please apply with your most up to date CV.
