Description

Our client, a leading provider of Audio Visual and technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality AV installation projects across the UK. This is a homebased role but you must live within the m3 or m4 boarder to access client sites. You will receive a company car or car allowance.

About the Role

You will manage end-to-end AV projects-typically up to GBP100k-from planning and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover. You'll work closely with technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and oversee the delivery, installation, configuration, and testing of AV systems.

Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, scopes of work, reports, and handover information.

Coordinate internal engineering, design, and commissioning teams.

Review technical solutions and advise on required changes.

Manage system staging, pre-site testing, and on-site activities.

Ensure compliance with IT protocols, network security, health & safety, and internal processes.

Monitor project performance, budgets, risks, and variations.

Lead client communication and attend project meetings.

Manage snagging, post-project actions, and manufacturer liaison.

Ensure excellent customer experience and maintain a professional presence on site.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

2+ years of project management or project coordination experience.

Proven track record delivering technical or AV projects up to GBP100k.

Strong understanding of AV installation practices and technical documentation.

Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work independently, under pressure, and to deadlines.

High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.

Full UK driving licence and ability to pass security vetting.

Qualifications (desirable, not all essential)

Prince2 Foundation (or willingness to complete Practitioner level within 12 months).

AVIXA Project Management / CTS qualifications.

SMSTS or equivalent H&S certification.

Additional Requirements

Ability to travel UK-wide and occasionally internationally, including overnight stays.

Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 40kg (equipment provided).

Commitment to ongoing training and staying current with AV technologies.
