Project Manager - Highways

Description

Atheray Stone are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work for a Main Contractor who are working on a large Highways Framework covering the M25.

This is working as part of a busy civils framework which delivery 8 to 10 projects per year of varying values. Types of projects include but are not limited to:

Concrete Repairs Bearing Replacement Joint Replacement Bridge Deck Waterproofing & Surfacing Works Painting & Corrosion Protection Ground Stabilisation & Earthworks Candidates need to be able to travel to all areas of the M25, as well as being able to commit to day, night and weekend shifts.

Overview:

Experience working for a tier 1 or 2 contractor and managing a project portfolio of bridge structures. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage. Significant experience in highways construction, specifically roads, bridges or structures. Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management. SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
