ARE YOU A PRODUCTION PLANNER FROM A MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND?

Production Planner required for a well established manufacturer who pride themselves on being a brand associated with quality. They boast a fantastic team environment. You will benefit from working within a progressive environment where training, development and progression is readily available.

The role would suit Production Planners with a manufacturing background. Applicants who have experience in a heavy industry or a foundry environment will have a considerable advantage. You must be proficient with ERP systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager/Factory Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining detailed production schedules in line with customer orders, stock levels and manufacturing capacity constraints. You will liaise closely with production teams to ensure plans are realistic and achievable. As part of your role, you will adjust schedules to accommodate for demand fluctuations or production challenges. In this role it will ultimately be your responsibility to ensure seamless flow of operations and to ensure that output is delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standard.

This is a varied role within a company who genuinely invest in and look after their employees. The company have strategic growth plans and are extremely successful in a wide range of industries.

Production Planner

Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules

Demand planning, resource planning, stock and material control

Delivering output on time, in budget and to high quality standards

Liaison with all internal departments

Troubleshooting and overcoming production challenges

Monday to Friday. Early finish Friday.
