Location: Nottingham

Salary: GBP21.39 per hour

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking PCV Mechanic on behalf of one of clients. Applications from HGV Mechanics will also be given due consideration.

Hours of Work:

37 hours a week (with 30 minutes unpaid meal break). Sunday to Saturday, 5 from 7; varying hours on a rotating shift pattern (Earlies 05:30 to 13:30, Lates (13:00 to 21:00).

Duties & Responsibilities:

To maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.To carry out any repairs as necessary to ensure safe and roadworthy vehicles to a high standard of reliability and quality.Carry out any reasonable maintenance activities.Adhere to health & safety standards. Skills & Qualifications:

Have a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexible.Full UK driving licence.PCV driving licence.Experience of Cummins & Scania drivetrain & electrical systems.Experience of modern electrical systems & OEM diagnostic systems.At least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV workshop.Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ level 3). Location: Nottingham
