Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead a site-based operation in Milton Keynes. This is a key leadership role focused on Health & Safety, people development, and operational excellence.
You'll be a visible leader on the shop floor, driving performance, embedding a strong safety culture, and delivering continuous improvement through efficient processes, technology, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site operations, labour planning, and productivityAct as a visible Health & Safety leader, ensuring full compliance and a positive safety cultureDrive operational performance against KPIs and OKRsDevelop and coach Shift Managers and operational teamsDeliver continuous improvement, efficiency gains, and process optimisationLead training, competency management, and risk investigationsWork closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
About You
Proven senior operations experience in manufacturing, engineering, or logisticsStrong, hands-on leadership style with shop-floor presenceTrack record of improving performance, safety, and efficiencyExperience delivering operational change and projectsConfident working cross-functionally, including with Sales and Quality
