Design and deliver robust network and infrastructure solutions both on-site and remotely.Provide technical pre-sales support and conduct technical assessments.Deliver 2nd/3rd line support to in-house IT teams within schools.Lead projects involving firewalls, wired/wireless networks, cloud IaaS, storage, safeguarding tools, and backup solutions.Create documentation and ensure high standards of service delivery.Technical Expertise Required
Strong 3rd Line experience across networking, firewalls, and Windows Server.Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet (NSE4 preferred), Aruba, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID.Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, routing, and email security.Experience working within ITIL-aligned service desk environments.Desirable: experience supporting IT services in school settings.Personal Attributes
Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.Self-motivated, organised, and collaborative.Passionate about delivering IT services that support teaching and learning.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).Comfortable working from home with a suitable remote setup.Benefits
