Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) - Days

Derby

45,000 per annum

Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm / Friday 7am-12pm

A well-established and fast-paced FMCG manufacturer in Derby is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent days-based shift.

This is a great opportunity to work in a high-volume production environment where reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machineryDiagnose and fault-find on electrical and mechanical systemsMinimise downtime and ensure production targets are metSupport continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgradesMaintain accurate maintenance records and comply with health & safety standardsRequirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skillsRelevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilityAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamIf you're a motivated Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role within a dynamic FMCG environment, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
