Description
I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer who are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
The Role:
You'll work as part of a skilled shift team responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance tasks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
This is a flexible role that isn't tied to one specific area - you'll be expected to work confidently across all production zones, supporting the wider operational team and helping to drive plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Carry out planned maintenance activities.
- Overhaul, repair and maintain factory machinery both during and outside production hours.
- Support CI and plant development activities.
What you'll need:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Strong mechanical and electrical comprehension.
- Practical engineering experience within an industrial environment.
- Comfortable working a 12 hour shift pattern.
