The Role

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of construction, earthmoving, and agricultural equipment across customer and project sites.

Working as part of the wider major projects team, you will carry out scheduled maintenance, preventative servicing, inspections, and consumable replacement to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational.

ExcavatorsArticulated Dump Trucks (ADTs)DozersTelehandlersCompaction EquipmentAgricultural Machinery Key responsibilities include:

Routine servicing in line with manufacturer specifications and schedulesLubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishmentPreventative maintenance and condition monitoringFault identification and reportingCleaning, inspecting, and preparing equipment for transfer or redeploymentFitting replacement parts and consumablesSupporting larger maintenance and repair projects alongside fellow engineers There will also be opportunities to work with the company's digital solutions team, assisting with the installation of:

GPS SystemsHuman Form Recognition CamerasHeight and Slew RestrictorsOther innovative plant technology solutions Full product training and support will be provided.

The Candidate

Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of plant machineryExperience servicing and maintaining plant, construction, or agricultural equipmentKnowledge of hydraulic systemsAbility to complete routine maintenance to a high standardUnderstanding of risk assessments and method statementsStrong organisational and time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyComfortable working in a customer-facing environmentTeam player with a proactive approach and willingness to get stuck in Backgrounds considered:
