Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for MIG Welders for long term contract work for a client in Rotherham

This does have the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is 28.50 per hour (all hours).

Shifts Available:

Mornings - Monday- Thursday- 6am - 2 pmNights - Monday to Friday - 8pm - 6amWeekends - Friday to Sunday - 3 x 12 hours - 6am - 6pmAbout The Role:

Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminiumWeld various joint configurations in all positionsEnsure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and WPS requirementsReview engineering drawings for parts to be weldedWorking to tolerances on fabrication drawings.Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scaleCarry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks and record the necessary safety checksEnsure correct marking up of component partsNVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
