Mechanical Technician required for a reputable manufacturing company located in Cambridge. Candidates from any engineering or technical background are encouraged to apply as the company can offer full training, however candidates must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
The successful Mechanical Technician will be joining a production team of 40-50 people and will be responsible for supporting pipe preparation. Working from engineering drawings, you will cut and prepare tubes to 0.5mm and hand bend tubes ranging from 1/8 diameter to diameter. The role will involve working with hand tools and measuring equipment.
The Mechanical Technician Role:
Cut and prepare pipe tubes to 0.5mm
Work from engineering drawings
Hand bend tubes ranging from 1/8 diameter to diameter
Support the development of new starters
Use of hands tools and measuring equipment
The Mechanical Technician Candidate:
Any engineering / technical background
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
