Up to GBP40,000, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm, with no weekends as standard.

You ll strip, rebuild and get to the root of mechanical faults on specialist aviation equipment where accuracy really matters.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in doing the job properly and wants to build real expertise.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on aircraft ground support equipmentStripping, inspecting, refurbishing and rebuilding mechanical assemblies, including jacks and lifting equipmentReverse engineering components and working from engineering drawings and maintenance manualsDiagnosing mechanical faults and replacing bearings, seals, bushes and linkagesSupporting hydraulic system maintenance where requiredCompleting accurate service reports and customer documentation As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, your experience will include:

A strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair, ideally in engineering or aviationConfident mechanical fault finding and diagnosticsThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsHydraulic maintenance experience and LOLER knowledge would be an advantageNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance preferredA full UK driving licence, and the ability to pass airport pass vetting (5-year referenced work or education history) If you re a Mechanical Maintenance Technician who wants to spend more time solving problems and less time on the road, this is a role where your skills will keep developing.
