A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinist / Mechanical Fitter for a company in the Gloucester Area that build a variety of special purpose machinery.

With no day ever being the same the Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long–term progression and career development within a first–class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Install, assemble, and align mechanical equipment.

Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, compressors).

Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.

Troubleshoot faults and replace defective parts.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems and controls.

Precision fitting and use of tools/equipment.

Problem–solving and fault–finding skills.

To keep your work areas clean and tidy.
