Description

Manufacturing Technician - Precision Engineering

Location: Maidstone

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm (40 hours per week, 1-hour unpaid break)

Contract: Permanent

Are you a hands-on technician with experience in CNC machining or toolmaking? Are you looking to develop your skills further in a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment? We're hiring a Manufacturing Technician to join our precision engineering team in Maidstone.

Working as part of a forward-thinking production department, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining specialist machinery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, problem-solving environment and enjoys working with innovative production equipment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Setting up and running automated production processesCarrying out tool changes and basic machine maintenanceMonitoring machine performance and addressing first-line issuesManaging stock levels of consumables and toolingEnsuring all work meets strict quality and safety standardsWorking collaboratively within a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement cultureSupporting production planning and participating in daily team meetingsAssisting with other production tasks as neededWhat We're Looking For:

Background in CNC machining, toolmaking, or similar precision engineering fieldComfortable working with mechanical production equipmentProactive, quality-focused, and safety-consciousKeen to learn and contribute to ongoing improvement projectsWhat You'll Get in Return:
