About the Manufacutring Engineer Role

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer

Lead Continuous Improvement projects using Lean tools: Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, Value Stream MappingDevelop and optimise manufacturing processes to meet quality standardsImplement robust process controls and error-proofing solutionsSupport new product development from concept to launchSpecify and validate equipment, tooling, and fixturesDrive cost reduction through process optimisation and value engineeringPrepare CapEx reports with justification and cost analysisContribute to capital investment planning and executionRequirements for the Manufacturing Engineer Role

HND/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial preferred)Experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive or similar)Practical exposure to Lean methodologies and problem-solving toolsKnowledge of automated assembly systems, tooling and test equipmentAbility to interpret engineering drawingsSix Sigma Green/Black Belt advantageousExperience with CapEx projects beneficialAbout You
