Pay rate: GBP14 – GBP16 Per Hour

Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to be assisting our client, an established and very busy engineering firm based in the ST10 – Cheadle area of Stoke On Trent, to source an experienced manual machinist.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual machines, including lathes and mills. Read customer drawings and work to tight tolerances. Be willing to learn new skills and participate in continuous improvement activities. Requirements or Qualifications:

Knowledge of machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc. Ability to use precision measuring equipment (e.g., callipers) to measure material, parts, or products accurately and consistently. Ability to use measuring jigs/tools (e.g, micrometers) to read precise measurements from production items. This role is ideal for candidates from nearby towns or cities such as Leek, Uttoxeter, and Blythe Bridge.
