Description
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (Production/Manufacturing/Factory based)
Our client is looking to expand their maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
Role includes:-
Ensuring maintenance employees apply safe working practices.Develop safe Systems of Work for maintenance tasks.Ensure asset's are maintained in a safe condition.Ensure environmental equipment is properly maintained.Conduct regular safety meetings.Develop and manage people resource plan.Pro-active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools.Root cause analysis.Assess spare parts requirements.Control use of contract labour.Technical troubleshootingManage maintenance contractor spending for the business area within budget.Skills/knowledge:-
Candidate should demonstrate safety awareness and working knowledge of policy, standards and beliefs, ensuring same is present with colleagues.Maintain safe environment.Be aware of environmental/H&S issues, and ensuring systems are in place to deal with any issues.Preference will be given to mechanical qualifications.Preference will be given to candidates with a manufacturing/production experience - preferable factory based.Preference will be given to candidates who live around the Inverness area.Excellent salary is offered to the right candidate. This is a permanent position, interviews are being arranged shortly, hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with the requirement for additional hours worked during maintenance shutdowns as required.
