4 on 4 off, days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

Salary up to 56,000 (dependant on experience)

Role Description - What you will be doing

Complete planned and reactive maintenance to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performanceCarry out electrical testing, fault-finding and safe isolation, with safety paramount at all timesUse CMMS systems to record, plan and manage maintenance activityWork collaboratively as part of a four-person engineering team and communicate effectively with production and other key stakeholdersMaintain the highest health and safety standards and safe working practicesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement themMaintain mixers, valves, reactors and other mechanical equipmentSupport improvement projectsSkills and qualifications required:

Time-served engineering apprenticeshipAt least three years of hands-on engineering experience after completing the apprenticeshipExperience within food manufacturing or food productionEither an electrical or mechanical bias will be consideredA good understanding of electrical testing, fault-finding and safe working practicesComfortable using CMMS systems; experience with the company's specific system is not requiredA strong team player, comfortable working within a four-person engineering teamAbility to work independently when requiredWillingness to undertake internal training and continue developing as an engineer
