The basics:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Both mechanical and electrical skill sets will be considered as training can be given)
Hours/shift: Days only - Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30, Fri 07:30-12:30 (39hr week)
Pay: 43,000 + OT = earnings of 50,000 and upwards achievable
Location: Near Alfreton
Position: Permanent
Industry: Manufacturing
Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.
Overview:
We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working within a clean, modern, purpose built manufacturing facility for a established SME, you will be part of a two person team, responsible for all machinery maintenance across the site consisting of CNC Machinery such as Mazak 5 axis machining centers.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdownsPPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Time served apprentice trained or abovePrevious experience maintaining machinery - any machine tool maintenance experience highly beneficial. (CNC Milling machinery)An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)Commutable from:
Ripley, Alfreton, Ilkeston, Heanor, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.
